Overall Progress
- Timeline for resolution: Because parts of IEP Online are interconnected, each fix is tested to ensure it doesn’t introduce new problems. There is no date yet for when IEP Online will fully meet contract requirements. PCG’s estimate for full resolution will be shared by October 30.
- Progress reports and records: These reports and records help families understand how students are progressing toward IEP goals. The access issue has been resolved and reports are now functional
- Writeback: This sends IEP information to student information systems so staff in select districts don’t have to enter it twice. PCG paused the writeback after finding errors and missed its Oct. 2 target. A pilot to restore this feature began Oct. 6, with daily transfers targeted for Oct. 26.
- Training: PCG released a Quick Reference Guide to help districts address data migration issues. The guide includes procedures for correcting data errors and managing some student-transfer scenarios. It also provides districts with a documented, consistent statewide process for resolving known migration issues while permanent improvements continue.
- Continued educator work group progress: District and ESD practitioners serve on focused workgroups for Workflow, Improvements & Training; Reporting & Compliance; and User Permissions & Roles. Input from these groups has led to changes and the resolution of some issues. Educators will continue to serve as an important voice in the resolution of issues.
