Celebrate National Reading Month with WASWUG and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Washington!
March is National Reading Month, a time to celebrate the power of books to spark imagination, build knowledge, and open doors for learners of all ages. Reading is foundational to everything we do in education. It fuels curiosity, strengthens critical thinking, and helps students see themselves, and their futures, more clearly.
This month, in partnership with EFUNDS for Schools, we’re proud to connect that spirit of literacy to our WASWUG Gives Back campaign to raise funds for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Washington.
Through this incredible program, children from birth to age five receive a free, high-quality book mailed to their home each month, building early literacy skills and creating meaningful family reading moments long before kindergarten begins.
Whether you’re attending WASWUG or not, we invite you to join us in giving back. Every donation helps put books directly into the hands of young readers across our state.

The WASWUG Conference is a Washington State K-12 User Group, hosted by WSIPC, where users of Skyward’s software can come together to share experiences and ideas to improve their understanding and use of the Skyward product suite. WASWUG provides a unique opportunity for users to network with one another, attend breakout sessions presented by other users, and connect with companies whose products and services enhance Skyward’s software. WASWUG is held each March at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA.
WSIPC is a non-profit public agency that provides technology solutions, services, and support to K-12 schools.
