Copilot: Meet Your AI Assistant for Education >> (YouTube link)

Your WSIPC Cooperative is excited to announce that Microsoft Copilot is now being offered through our Microsoft EES partnership. AI integration into Microsoft 365 is a powerful addition to our personal productivity capabilities.

Copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 in two ways. It works alongside you, embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more — to unleash creativity, unlock productivity, and up level skills. Business Chat works across the large language model (LLM), the Microsoft 365 apps, and your data — your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and contacts — to do things you’ve never been able to do before. You can give it natural language prompts like “Tell my team how we updated the product strategy,” and it will generate a status update based on the morning’s meetings, emails, and chat threads.

With Copilot, you’re always in control. You decide what to keep, modify, or discard. Now, you can be more creative in Word, more analytical in Excel, more expressive in PowerPoint, more productive in Outlook, and more collaborative in Teams!

Please note: there is an upcoming change to Microsoft EES licensing costs.

For nearly 25 years, WSIPC has held legacy pricing that shielded our districts from market-rate increases. That pricing tier has been retired by Microsoft, and as a result, our costs through Dell will increase for the 2026–2027 enrollment period beginning October 1st.

The amount of the increase will depend on which products your district uses. We expect to receive confirmed pricing from Dell in mid-May. As soon as we have it, we’ll share details so you can see exactly what’s changing and by how much to help inform your purchasing decisions.

As you plan for this change, it’s worth noting what’s already built into your WSIPC membership. Our contract is competitively bid in compliance with Washington State procurement laws— it’s designed to withstand SAO audit scrutiny, so your district is protected from compliance risk. And because your licensing is administered by our team, you're not navigating vendor relationships, renewals, or pricing changes on your own.

You don’t need to do anything right now. We’ll update this page later this month with the new pricing, a clear timeline, and everything you need to complete your renewal.

If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to cadmin@wsipc.org or 425-349-6500.
