The Washington State Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC) is performing a SEBB study (stemming from Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 6189), which requests the collection of data for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years, as well as SEBB eligibility as of January 1, 2020. The JLARC will send a survey to districts outlining the details of the study and data request. The survey must be completed and submitted by December 31, 2020.

You can find more information about this study on the JLARC website (under "Additional Resources" on the right of the page).

WSIPC Can Help!
WSIPC has been working with the JLARC to assist with this request. We will be running a data query and submitting the files on behalf of our districts. WSIPC districts will receive a modified version of the JLARC survey for the remaining data that they must submit individually, which includes a request of substitute employee data. The survey is focused on two groups (Classified and Certificated) for three main time frames:

· Fiscal Year 18-19 (September- August)

· Fiscal Year 19-20 Pre-SEBB (September-December)

· Fiscal Year 19-20 SEBB (January- August)

To aid our districts in completing this survey for substitute employees, WSIPC has developed the following Data Mining templates for SMS 2.0 and Report Manager templates for Qmlativ:

· JLARC 18-19

· JLARC 19-20 PRE SEBB

· JLARC 19-20 SEBB
