Honoring Special Education Day

Thank You Special Education Staff!

Today, we recognize Special Education Day, a moment to honor the educators and support staff who ensure every student has access to meaningful, equitable learning opportunities.

We see the impact of your work every day. Special education teams across Washington show remarkable dedication in supporting students, navigating complex needs, and collaborating to remove barriers to learning. Your efforts don’t just change academic outcomes, they change lives.

We're excited to highlight your impact at our WASWUG 2026 conference. We're partnering with Public Consulting Group to bring you a dedicated Special Education Track, designed to provide specialized resources, tools, and strategies to enhance the great work you do.

We are grateful for the commitment, compassion, and expertise you bring to your work. Thank you for championing inclusion, advocating for students, and reminding us what it truly means to serve as one team for all learners.

The WASWUG Conference is a Washington State K-12 User Group, hosted by WSIPC, where users of Skyward’s software can come together to share experiences and ideas to improve their understanding and use of the Skyward product suite. WASWUG provides a unique opportunity for users to network with one another, attend breakout sessions presented by other users, and connect with companies whose products and services enhance Skyward’s software. WASWUG is held each March at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA.

WSIPC is a non-profit public agency that provides technology solutions, services, and support to K-12 schools. WSIPC’s purpose is to help schools do more with every dollar and to empower them with the tools to work smarter.
