Method Of Instruction Tracking

Many of our districts have requested the ability to track the method of instruction (online, in-person, hybrid, etc.) that each student is assigned to, or chooses to participate in, when schools reopen.

As a result, Skyward will be adding new functionality to both SMS 2.0 and Qmlativ for school districts to record and report on this data.

Skyward will create a “Method of Instruction” sub-tab in the Special Programs area of Student Profile to allow school districts to add records specific to each student. Each student’s Method of Instruction Record will include Start and End Dates, as well as a district-defined Method of Instruction Code.

In addition, Skyward will create utilities to update these records, incorporate the records into reporting capabilities, and make the records visible to teachers via Educator Access Plus.

WSIPC Student Services will keep you up-to-date with the latest information on this project.
