COVID-19 Health Question Tool Added for Students and School Staff!

Health Screening

Skyward has added new functionality that gives our Cooperative member districts the tools they need to ask their students and staff health questions related to COVID-19, based on CDC’s general guidance.

This functionality has been added to Student/Family Access, Employee Access, and Administrative Access, and is also available through the mobile app.

It consists of two screening questions, which ask if the student or staff member has experienced any of a list of CDC approved symptoms within the previous 24 hours, and whether the student or staff member has been in close contact with anyone who has, or may have, COVID-19.

The questions can be completed daily, and once the student or staff member answers the questions they are approved to enter school or advised to stay home.

This functionality also has reporting capabilities.

Recorded demos for this new functionality are available on our SharePoint site. For more information, contact your Information Service Center.

Future Features

The current questions and symptoms available in SMS 2.0 and Qmlativ follow CDC guidelines, but as our districts are requesting the ability to modify the questions and symptoms, this ability will be added soon. We will provide additional information and/or training as the functionality becomes available.
