Summer FOCUS 2019 was Another Great Success!
Almost 200 Coordinators participated over the two days–that makes this year’s event the largest Summer FOCUS we’ve ever had!

Our theme this year was CONVERGING our bright minds, COLLABORATING with our knowledge and ideas, and CREATING a new Qmlativ world.

What We Learned

On Monday, Jill Murray (User Experience Manager at Skyward) introduced User-Centered Design in preparation for product-line focused Research and Development sessions for Qmlativ. These sessions allow attendees to review and provide feedback about the Qmlativ product-feedback that Skyward uses as they continue refining Qmlativ.

For the general session on Tuesday, we learned about the basics of the Qmlativ Import Designer before breaking off into product-line groups for hands-on activities.

Our other sessions were broken out into three tracks: Finance, HR-Payroll, and Student. These sessions were a combination of training, review, hands-on, interactive, and discussion sessions all centered around Qmlativ and the migration to Qmlativ.

Documentation

We have published a post-event version of the OneNote Notebook that we used at Summer FOCUS, with updated documentation based on discussions and questions that you brought up at the event.

Download the Summer FOCUS 2019 Notebook by visiting the Summer FOCUS area on our SharePoint site!

Summer Focus Puzzle
Jigsaw Puzzle Masters!

We completed the 1000-piece Summer FOCUS 2019 jigsaw puzzle in just two days! As you can see from the picture above, we’ve proudly hung it near the reception area here at WSIPC. Next time you’re here, make sure you pose for a selfie with the masterpiece you created!

Thank You for Making Summer FOCUS Amazing!
