Are you interested in helping a very worthy cause and doing something beneficial for the environment?

Do you have broken, retired, or unused electronics around the office or house you’d like to recycle responsibly?

If you answered yes to both questions, why not host a FREE e-Waste Collection Event at your place of work as a service to your co-workers and peers?

This fall, WSIPC Purchasing Partner, 3R Technology, will donate $1 for every 100 lbs of material collected from your event to HERO House. HERO House is an amazing organization that helps its members with mental illness get jobs, return to school, find affordable housing, and live independent lives through a collective, clubhouse-style approach.

Recycle properly with a certified e-Waste company AND support a great cause by having an e-Waste Collection Event at your campus or commercial building.

Just to recap, these events are:
  • Zero cost – no recycling or pickup fees to either the company or to the employees.
  • Convenient – employees don’t have to make a special trip after hours or on a weekend to come to us, or find another recycling facility to recycle their electronics.
  • Environmentally conscious – in addition to keeping hazardous electronics out of the landfill, employees don’t have to burn extra gas to drive somewhere to recycle. They’re already coming to work anyway.

WSIPC is a non-profit cooperative that provides technology solutions (including Skyward), services, and support to K-12 schools. WSIPC’s purpose is to help schools do more with every dollar and to empower them with the tools to work smarter.

A benefit of being served by the WSIPC Cooperative is that we can use our centralized resources so our districts do not have to use their own time, money, and resources to meet bid requirements. WSIPC’s Purchasing Program connects schools to a network of RFP Bid technology solution providers. This program offers software, hardware, and service providers compliant with RCW 28A.335.190. For a full list of available product and service contracts, check out the Purchasing page on our website.
